Philco Ford Stereo Model R7WA-TS
#1

Does anyone know anything about this radio? I just got it and cannot find anything anywhere. Help please. Icon_smile I can send photos, they are too large to attach here. Thanks

It sounds like it's a later model given the name and model number, solid state too. I don't know if anyone here would have any service info on such a unit, most of us don't have anything Philco made past the mid 1960s, which was before they started adding the blue oval Ford logo on the front. But I can tell you this, if it's a cabinet stereo unit it's only value is as a radio-phonograph to someone, not as a collectable.

Thanks. It's small 14" wide, 7.25" high and 6" deep. Has the ability to plug in both a turntable and a tape unit & has 2 free standing speakers. Sits on a table or shelf. Says both solid state and stereo high fidelity on the front. On the Ford website, they say they started making them with premium sound & separate speakers in '78. Perhaps it will be of some value to a Ford aficionado?
