Help with Philco K-1635-121
#1

I found a Philco model K-1635-121 (as found on the back of the cabinet) today on the side of the road. It looks like it's in great condition, ignoring the years of dust it's accumulated inside and out, and it turns on, plays radio, and the turntable spins! I'm in the process of acquiring a needle (108D if I'm not mistaken), but I was just wondering if anyone knew more about this beauty. I can't seem to find any information on it at all online. Thanks in advance!

Do not play it anymore until you udate everything that needs updating.
Cord, caps....

Where's that road? I am sure not in .NJ Icon_smile.

Welcome!

how do I know if a cord or cap needs replacing? it's incredibly dusty inside, and I'm slowly cleaning it out.

the road is in the hudson valley. thanks!

If cord s rigid, cracked etc, needs replacement.

ALL caps except micas and the tuning cap need replacement without exception.
