39-116x console
#1

Here is a question for the Philco experts.
I have a 39-116 that needs a lot of work as far as the cabinet goes.
I was wondering if there are other similar models that my chassis would fit in?
Might be easier to find another similar cabinet versus trying to repair the existing one.

I know it will fit other Mystery Control console cabinets (you will have to use your 1939 escutcheon):

39-55, 39-116, 40-205, 40-215, 40-216, 40-217, 41-316

It *might* fit these non-Mystery Control Philcos also, but check chassis length first to be sure:

39-36, 39-40, 39-45, 40-195, 40-200, 40-201, 41-295, 41-300, 41-315, 42-400

In addition to using your 1939 escutcheon, you would also have to make modifications to the bottom of your donor chassis for the Mystery Control loop. Also keep in mind, the Mystery Control loop might be too large for some other cabinets including other Mystery Control cabinets. It might turn out to be too much work if you're looking to flip it.
