Just need an opinion- to strip or leave it be. Stripping is not that difficult thing to do, just wonder if it still looks presentable.
Some like it that way, "patina" and all, not sure. Thanks.

Only 1 picture, but, from that, I would 'let it be" too.

I would also leave it as is. The finish is original only once, and for 80 years old it looks very nice.

I agree with everyone else..... leave it alone. The most I would do is a Go-Jo cleaning, some Howard's or Old English, and some quality paste wax.

I would have to see more pictures, with sharp focus, brighter lighting, and not at odd angles, sometimes they make things look better then they really are in person. A case in point was the Rogers Ten-60 I got from a guy selling it over craigslist, in a front on view it looked pretty nice, when I went to look at it in person I realized that someone had rubbed it down with Howard or some other scratch hiding product. Now obviously this set is not being pedaled on craigslist but a rub down with Gojo can have much the same effect, until the remnants of the Gojo evaporates.

I wouldn't strip that. You can always touch the small worn areas up. If you use Howards you can touch up or go over it at any time with Laquer based products.

Keeping the cabinet original, I did not want to have the chassis look brand new, just clean.
