need parts
#1

I am looking for a face plate which would include the plastic ring and the glass plate with the screws. Also, I was wondering if the one out of four knobs is supposed to be wood? Prices anyone? It is for a 42-380 floor model in good condition.
Thankyou
mb

Hi,I am not familiar with your model so I am not sure if this will help. There are some reproduction faceplates (escutcheons) and knobs
available.I purchased some through a place in upstate N.Y. The name is Radio Daze. I do not want to give you the impression this is the only place to go as there may be others. Also there is a radio "junk yard" on the web that sells old parts. Sorry I can't be more specific ,but hope this helps some.Good luck in your search for parts, they are out there somewhere!

Hi mb.

Like Bill said you can get the dial scale from http://www.radiodaze.com/
They do very good work and look like the original. Good people to deal with. The face plate or escutcheons for your radio can be found here.

All of your knobs should be plastic I think. I have only worked on one 42-380. You can get your knob there also.

Hope this helps
Terry
