Need picture of the back of a Philco 38-60B
#1

My first post and of course I want something. I have a 38-60 tombstone that I now have working fine and am now ready to start on the cabinet. My first problem is that the radio does not have a back on it thus I need a picture of the back of one so I can make a back for it. Also, what material do most of you normally use for a back?

I do not believe Philco had backs on those.

Update..a quick search of the Phorum and I found Ron saying no US made cathedral or tombstone made before1939 had a back.  See

Thanks for the prompt response, it was appreciated and I believe correct as all of the images I can find do not have a back on them. My only hint that there might have been a back at one time was the fact that with a great imagination I thought it looked like there was some tiny nail holes in the back on the cabinet.

Have a great Thanksgiving,

Don
