Recapping the recapped
#1

Ever tried recapping 1960 recap? The fellow tried to fit all bypasses into the bakekite cases, for that he removed them all and cleaned only to find out the replacement capacitors would not fit.

I just went through something simular on an philco 640. Only who ever did mine installed the bypass caps and left the old ones in the blocks in circuit.

I was about to start my 66 when I saw this update.
Exact same picture. Plus axial lytics.

This belongs in Philco Electronic Restoration, and has been moved there (here).
