PHILCO MODEL 43 - CHASSIS TO CABINET WASHERS
#1

I've been trying to locate replacement washers which go between the chassis and the cabinet of the 1932 vintage Model 43 Cathedral Style radio I am restoring.  The bottom of the cabinet has recessed holes for the washers, with an approximately 1" diameter with an inner recess of approximately 3/8".  (measured on the cabinet itself)  The height of the dried up squashed remaining fossilized washer appears to be around 5/16".  The bore of the screw hole looks to be around 3/16".  I've checked a few re-pro component sites, but can't find chassis washers with these dimensions.

Does anyone know where I can get washers to fit that will do the job?

Thanks!

Try your local hardware store in the plumbing section. Usually there are all sizes in the plumbing section...at least at my Ace Hdwe. there is.

Thanks, Art! I'll give it a try.
