Hello All,
I'm restoring a Philco 41-100 Console Farm Battery Radio.
The wiring is toast right up to the transformer. I know I can heat shrink the bare wires, but was hoping someone would know a suitable replacement part. The drawing shows part number 32-8107, the actual number on the transformer is 7581 W-38560.
Also does anyone know someone who reproduces the dial scale for this model?

Welcome to the Phorum Lightnin. You need to check the transformer (I assume your talking about the audio output) for resistance. If good, heat shrink the wires. As for the power supply, I'm guessing a 90V and 1.5V battery. Many have made these by conventional batteries stacked together. Like 10 9V batteries and a couple 1.5V cells. I have done a couple "power supplies" for A/C built into a battery box that work well if your planning to use the radio for a lot of time. If interested I can dig up some pictures.

Thanks Jerry and Bob,
I already have the power source. I'm replacing wires and such no before applying power etc. I will check the transformer, but it seems I read an article they could be close to toast on the inside too even if the outer leads were sleeved.
Thanks,
