I.F. and ANT coil can mounting methods
#1

I often replace marginal grid cap connection wires and clips. I'm using to other radio brands where the IF and antenna cans are secured with two bolts on bottom of chassis and coils with two bolts from top of can.

This model 60 is the first Philco where I've needed to remove the cans. The 1st I.F. can for example. I've figured out how the coil itself is mounted, but is the can a press fit thru the chassis? And the antenna can, was it really riveted to chassis from bottom? I can take/post photos if you like.

Your comments on Philco can mount methods would be appreciated.
