Philco 37-116 Proper Dial Lamps
#1

Hi all. I read the thread about the replacement led dial lamps (pinball). I was wondering what Philco used originally in this radio ? It doesn't seem to be listed on the schematic or parts list. I seem to have a mix of #51 , #47 and even some screw in style in a bayonet base ???  Icon_crazy  I "kind" of think it is the #51 (with the round glass) as opposed to the #47 with the long style glass. Just looking for clarification.
Thanks....

Tony,
Codes 121 & 122 use p/n 34-2039, which is a #55 lamp:

The 4 flood lamps are pretty dim with 55's. I picked up a bunch of the pinball leds, but I've been too lazy to yank the chassis and try them out. I made my own station tabs, which also maybe part of the problem, as they may not let as much light through then the originals. So I figured I'd give the leds a shot for the floods. The 55 works great for the pilot/dial bulb though.
