My little PT-93 is finished
#1

I finally finished my PT-93!
Restored chassis with every cap removed at terminals and replaced with tubing. Not much harder and loos a lot better and safer.
Made a new dial cover mold and dial cover. Cleaned the radio cabinet with GoJo and done!

I really like the styling of it.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

It has a handle so send it to Sam, he can use it as a portable with a 100' extension cord Icon_e_wink

Seriously, that is a nice looking radio.  Now don't be getting the big head just cause you finally learnt how to use tubing Icon_mrgreen

Darn it he has all the luck!

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

This is an older post but It played real well. Even after I recapped it, Icon_lol
It is on a shelf in the Library now and I have not played it in months.. Icon_sad

I do like to look at it though... I should pull it down and play it for a while instead of the PT-69
