I can't find schematic model 82
#1

I looked on every site I could find and I can't find a schematic for this radio .
Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
All it says on the metal tag is model 82, although the photos I find of the radio
on the internet show it to be a model 40-82 and I still can't find the schematics.
Here is a photo of one from the  internet.
  Thanks,              Dan in Calgary

Dan from what I can tell the 40-82 is a battery/portable.

Look at the 49-905 in the gallery here. Is that it?

I looked up each one of the models suggested and none of them are close to what I have.
The photos of the cabinet are the same though.
 This radio has
 [left knob]  on/off, volume
[middle knob  Radio/ phono
 [right knob]  tuning.
  the tubes are as follows
 35Y4-----rectifier
50A5------- output
 14A7------1st audio
 14B6------IF amp
 7A8  converter.
These are on a tube layout on the bottom of the radio.
So far I am still stumped and I have tried all the places I can think of.
Thanks for the replies, PS KCMike ,,the photo you directed me to has the AM dial on the bottom and mine has the AM dial on the top

This Canadian model is not equivalent to any US model, which will make it tough to find a schematic, unfortunately.

Dan, have you tried Just Radios, or someone who has the RCC books?

There is a Canadian seller of CDs containing all of the RCC data...Ed Krushaar (sp?)...don't know how to contact him...sorry...

Dan, were you able to find the schematic for the model 82 ?  If not I have one. Let me know if you still want it.

Hi Dan. Your R.C.C. 1927-1955 disk should have Supplements #20 - #23 listed. Go to Supplement #21 and under the index you'll see the model 82 listed. There are 3 pages; 46, 47, and 48 showing the schematic, the alignment and the parts list.
