An Introduction
#1

Good Evening, Happy Christmas to all;
Let me introduce myself, my name is Arran, I reside on Vancouver Island off the coast of British Columbia, in Western Canada. I've been a radio collector for over 20 years, I started with tube sets and have branched out into transistor radios, televisions, and recording media such as reel to reel, records, and eight tracks. My three favorite brands are Philco, Canadian General Electric, radios produced by Dominion Electrohome Industries, and to a lesser extent other makes such as Sparton Rogers-Majestic,etc. Some of you may know me from the antique radio forums, which is how I came across the Philco Phorums. I have followed the Philco Phorums for a few months but have not posted, which is why I thought that I should introduce myself before jumping in on anything.
Happy Christmas
Happy New Year
