Big Grin

Hello, new to this site. I just found a Philco trans world radio in a house i bought. Was hoping someone could tell me a little about it and what is its value (assuming it works).

Welcome to the Phorum!

I believe this is the gallery entry for that radio:

I love mine!
I think they are super nice and with some cleaning that one will too.
Nice ones can bring $125.00 or more. Does yours have the book?
I need one to complete mine...

Thanks for the fast replies. This one has the map but no book. I really dont have a use for it, and was considering selling it on craigslist/ebay. Just had no clue what it really is worth

I paid $75.00 for mine but it was a deal due to the good condition. Complete and in good condition working they sell for about $110.00. $125.00 - $150.00 with the book.
Yours is a bit worse for wear so maybe $75.00 locally or up to $100.00 on eBay..
Throw some D batteries in there and test her out.
