GE radio
#1

I have a GE X577 radio and can't find anything about it. Does somebody out there have scehmatic about this radio or know where I can get it. This radio has a wrong tube in it when I got it. It says suppose to have 5Y3GT, and it has 5U4GB? What will that do to the radio if anything? I have not turned it on yet with my varic concered my burn something up! Icon_smile Thanks Mike

The 5u4 draws more current on the heater, 3 amps vs 2 for the 5Y3. Don't do it. Shut it down and get the correct tube.

Mike,
Can you post the complete tube line up?
Can't find anything with that model number.
