Philco 46-1203 Cartridge Rebuild Help
#1

I am in the process of restoring a 46-1203 for a friend.  The original cartridge is not working (surprise!!).  Been searching the phorums and found links to Syl's instructions, but the links are dead.  I did find this link: https://philcoradio.com/library/index.ph...idge_Types

Where can I find replacement crystals/elements??

TIA

It’s not easy to find viable crystal elements these days.  You can use a piezo element but the results are mediocre at best.  I put a P51-3 cartridge in my 46-1203 and it works great!

What is a P51-3?  Where can I get one?

The P51-3 cartridge can be found here:

Just got the correct link from RonR

Do you still have the page up with the broken link so Ron can fix it?? I've been surfing too much and lost in cyberspace lol . . .

If you have rust between the vanes, I wonder how you get the NJ in between, and how you then wipe it off.morzh — 12:02 PM
