This was gifted upon me 2-1/2 years ago by the late wife of a late friend.
It is a 1950-s multi-band radio with a phonograph.
It hasn't been working for likely at least last 20 years. Maybe more.
Today it's number came up.
Very dirty and dusty inside. Nutshells....likely mice. Or some other rodents.
The speakers are good, the broadband one wrapped in cloth like it always is in German jobs.
I took the chassis out after taking the turntable out.
It is pretty easy.
Here are some views:
The mat is in the real bad shape, and feels like rock, all hardened up. Will need a new one.
I vacuumed the cabinet.
Now have to vac the chassis, clean it, test the tubes.

Oh! And this is a wonderful Perpetuum Amber Rex! Very simple and very high-quality player with automatic record change. Its huge advantage over others is that you can simultaneously download records of different sizes in any sequence.

Michael, give the dimensions. You know what a Soviet clone must be. I will pick up and send.

I do not know how reliable this is as the rubber mat is hardened and so might've shrunk. But it still is pretty close to that inner part of the platter that is limited by the outer raised part so I assume it is still the right diameter.
The diameter of the rubber mat is 190mm. (the metal platter diameter is 210mm).
(honestly I do not know what the Soviet Clone was.....one of the Festivals? Rigonda?)

Michael, you won't believe it, but most Soviet players have a mat 190 mm in diameter.
Found somewhere in the dozen, what color would suit you?

The original is what's on the photo. Dark....."серо-буро-малиновьiй" (Russian way of calling a color that is God knows what - literally "greyish-brownish-raspberry"). Anything that is between dark-olive and beige will do. In fact...anything will do.
But it is not urgent as the turntable will need its own restoration plus the cartridge (possibly).

Checked the tubes.
3 tubes are weak
ECC85, EBF89, ECH81.
One, the dual diode EAA91, has one diode dead. I tried cleaning contacts....no.
So, need to buy me some toobs.

May or may not work as well. I like to keep the European ones in my European radios. 6AL5 for the dual diodes.

Thanks Russ.
Yes I have the parallel designators.
I don't care much about European vs American if the two are equivalent.
I will buy the cheapest NOS be it German, American or even Russian.
In fact, those I found on eBay all list both designations.

Instead of the first 6Н23П will approach, instead of the third - 6И1П, instead of double diodes 6Х1П. But the second lamp (EBF89) has no Soviet counterpart. If you are still planning to restore other German or Soviet radios, I will send you several sets for each position.

Peter,
This is the only one I have for now.
Are you sure those are exact analogs or "close enough"?
The 6Н23П seems to be ECC88?
I sure could use some soviet tubes. Especially if those Melodiya and Rigqa 10 ever pass the Ukrainian customs

Michael, this has been tested many times. That's why I suggest that Melody and Riga are ready to travel across the Atlantic Ocean ...They are already asking themselves - well, when ?!
