The oscillator coil. Still no knobs either. Time to break out the #36 wire and have some fun! This one is an earlier version. Less louvers on the top of the cabinet and no ridges on the tuning cap for the pointer.

Well I guess that will be my big claim to fame!! I think I already know too much about them.The dollar pocket watches seems the be a nice reprieve from radios and the like. Anyway my daily watcher B/W TV when up in smoke the other night. It went ZORCH and the screen went black. After taking a good look at it the filament winding for the damp tube arced over to the chaiss. Lots of HV on it. So it's getting it's own transformer. Maybe today.
