New Guy With a 42-345
#1

Hello All!
My wife's father bought this radio when he was in the war. Her sisters want me to restore it. Needless to say, it has sat in a basement for many decades. I'm up for the challenge though. Question: Where can I get the selected band graphic shown in red on the right? Radio Daze doesn't have it. I also need new pushbutton decals. Any suggestions?

Hi,

You can make your own pushbutton tabs - details here:

As far as the band indicator is concerned, that has never been reproduced by anyone. If yours is missing or otherwise unusable, your only alternative is to find a parts set of the same model number which has that celluloid indicator still intact.

Cool. Thanks.
I might try to do something with clear decals for the band indicator.
