Mid '30s Philco in car entertainment
#1

G'day all. I thought you might be interested to see a Philco car radio fitted in a 1935 Rolls-Royce 20/25 that I came across last week. The Rolls was the personal transport of Lionel Windover, a coachbuilder in north London at the time.

I cannot see reference to the particular model of radio and wondered if anyone might be able to shed any light on it.

The radio appears at 4 minutes in https://youtu.be/LG3KbR-a8Jk

You can subscribe automatically here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsHtPwK...irmation=1 and I'll make it a priority to seek out Philco and other in car entertainment in vintage and classic cars in the future
