Philco "Circle 7" Wax Paper Capacitors
#1

I have noticed that in several of my Philco radios, that some of the wax paper capacitors are marked with the number "7" inside a circle.

Not every paper cap in a radio is marked this way.

Any idea what this means?   I didn't see any mention to this in the service documents.

It might have been an internal tracking of some sort. Perhaps a bulk lot number. Take care and BE HEALTHY! Gary

A cap's a cap.

All are replaced by film caps of the appropriate Volts and Farads value.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
