41-327 retouching black paint
#1

This has missing paint chips on the case. Would you just use a black laquer stic on this? Otherwise the case is in good shape so I don’t to refinish it all.

Yes, and you'll be amazed at the results.

Ok. I ordered one of those this morning.

If the lacquer stick doesn’t work out it’s not that big a job to remove the chassis, mask off the black, lightly sand and respray with black lacquer.
#5

Actually I got that in and used it this morning. Seems to work very well.
Do you just let it dry and then use wax on the cabinet or something else?
I have just been cleaning with the non abrasive Goop, using some feed n wax followed by two coats of Johnsons paste wax.

Yes I just let it dry. I would let it dry for several weeks before waxing as lacquers can take quite awhile to fully cure. I've used both the Feed n Wax product and paste waxes. Its more a matter of what you want the end sheen to be.

Hello guys,
Yes, I have used a laquer stic on furniture never on radio yet .

Sincerely Richard
