I just got the speaker back for the Model 80. I want to get some 20g color wire to redo the all the wiring. I have got some cloth. But looking for some 400v various color to finish it.

On the Sparton 601-FR I have several different resistors than is called for in the schematics. (FR-601 B) around 12SQ7GT R6 is not 22K its 68k . The set is completely dead. I have replaced all the caps. Just dont want to replace all the resistors if i dont have to.

Checked all the tubes. Going tube to tube insuring its all is hooked up. Just wondered if anyone had the 601-FR Schematics?

The schematics are different no short wave switch? I have Schematic 601B 601 is a different tube compliment.

it looks more like an 601 MS parts wise but looks more like 601 b or 601 s or 601 schematics

Except no filament transformer

on 601 FR

Well it doesn't matter so much, what tubes does it use? First off you'll want to measure the voltage at the cathode of the rectifier tube to B-

So how much dc voltage do you have across the filter caps?

I have found 12sq7 only reading on pin 8 (Filaments) nothing on pin 7 no connection between the two do not have another ordering one now.

zero volts across the caps.
