Value of H1716
#1

We are cleaning out my parents estate. Just wondering how much we should sell their Philco Stereophonic for. It isn't working, but probably wouldn't take much TLC to get it going.

Any input would be appreciated.

I am truly a Philco Baby....

Hi and welcome!

The H1716 is a 1960 model. Unfortunately, it has very little, if any, collector value at this time...in my opinion. Others may disagree, and that is fine.

Good luck with it, and thanks for checking in!

Thanks! It will probably go to a family member for nostalgia value which is priceless.

And that is, quite honestly, where its real value lies. I know that I'm far more $$ into my 40-190 than it's worth, but it's such a beautiful piece that I want it to be able to speak again.
