Philco 116X followed me home today
#1

I picked up this 116X off of CL today. All in all it's in nice condition and appears unmolested. I think this one's a keeper. Icon_thumbup

Looks in great condition. Makes you almost want to get two so as to display the back too.

Looks about the same condition as my 116X I found off CL over a year ago. Looks like you will need some grill cloth like mine as well. I swear, every Philco I have seen with this type of cloth nees help. Must be the cloth. One word of wisdom, watch that speaker cone for a bit when you get it going. The 116X can get loud and sounds good, but mine formed several cracks in the speaker cone along the edge from the first few hours of play. Luckily I had to take the speaker back out to inspect it or I would have had alot worse to repair. A little speaker repair cement and mine has held fine so far.

No matter where you go, there you are.

I do have a second one. How would they look together? Icon_biggrin
