Phorum How-To #3: Can I Change My Username?

Yes, you can change your own username, and you don't have to ask a member of management to do it for you. Icon_smile

To begin, let's go to your User Control Panel. Do you remember how to do that? On your computer or tablet, just scroll to the top of any page in the Phorum and click the User CP button as shown below.

And on your phone, tap the green icon at upper left as shown below.

You will be taken to a page that looks like the one below:

Notice that there are several clickable links in the Menu column at left.

Click (tap) the Change Username link under Your Profile.

This takes you to another page:

Enter your current password in the Current Password box.

Now enter the new username you wish to use in the New Username box.

Click or tap the Update Username button.

That's it! Your new username is now in effect.
