Oh, you are so lucky. And theradio plays very nice when fixed up.

If thats what you like knock yourself out......enjoy. I always felt radios that included smoker accessories and bars tacky, very bad taste of the day. Really got out of hand in the late 60's and 70's when lots of import crap started showing up featuring a mirrored bar along with an 8 track player

Congratulations!

I have a dream of tripping over one of those somewhere but I live on the wrong coast. Those that are out here, tend to all be in LA-LA-Land/Hollywood.
#6

Funny thing, most of the sets that I have seen from the west coast tended to be in nice shape. Must be the dry climate....
#7

No, I mean they're down in Los Angeles/Hollywood area. I'm up at the other end in the pacific northwet.

I have mixed feelings about these myself, but, I do know a fellow that sells bar (as in drinking) equipment that wants one very much. Just in case there is anyone out there wanting to off one.

Do be careful when removing that packing tape off that cabinet. If that's a photo finish, it might take the paper with it.

Decided against keeping it, I see. Too much restoration work to do?
