Bio: My Dad was a radio repair/operator during WWII ... so I was born with a soldering iron in my hand. I was given all of my families cast away radios (all from the 30's) when they updated to more "modern" sets in the 50's. 50 years later and nothing has changed. Those old sets are still my favorites. BTW I still have my dad's old soldering iron, wood handle, cloth covered cord, acorn plug and all (and it still works).
