Emmett Till was the kid killed in Mississippi in 1955.

Looks like the TV has a CBS channel 2 on. Likely in Chicago, not Mississippi, if what I find on the 'net is accurate...

The TV looks to be fairly new for 1955. People on other antique TV forums tell me it was a Philco from around 1952 or 53.
