Clips? For A 46-420 Back
#1

Hi all,
I built this 46-420 and it turned out beautiful. I know! It's in the eye of the beholder. Anyway this set doesn't have a back on it. I'm pretty sure it did originally from pictures I've seen of others. I've been making my own radio backs but I'm not sure how this one is attached to the radio. In pictures it looks like some type of clip maybe.

Does anyone know where I can get some of these clips or maybe a picture of one? I can make clips if I know what they look like.

Appreciate it!
Thanks,
Johnny

This radio used some little springy clips mounted on the back cover that fit inside the edge of the cabinet. I think thats why the backs are always missing! Sorry, I don't have a picture.

Hey thanks Bill! That gives me an idea on how to do this. I have some tempered steel that you can bend but it also remains spring loaded. I can make my back and then possibly pop rivet these clips onto it. Yeah the gears are turning.

Thanks,
Johnny

Sorry for the tardy reply. If you need any better photos or dimensions, just let me know.
