Padded Feet for Philco 38-15
#2

WildDog Wrote:1. I have a Philco 38-15 that has four padded feet. They look like a thumb tack and are just slightly bigger. On the underside is inscribed MATTATUCK WATERBURRY. Do you know if replacements are available?

If these are the same feet as Philco used on their cathedrals and tombstones (and I suspect they are), these are no longer being manufactured (as far as I know). Many cabinet refinishers, such as Barry Jones, use small circular stick-on felt pads instead which do a better job of protecting the furniture they sit on top of.

Quote:2. I also need a back for a Philco 40-124. And the correct grill cloth pattern.

Sorry, can't help you on the back. I suggest you put an ad in the Philco Wanted section.

As for the cloth, that particular pattern is not being reproduced. A similar pattern is #8 from Radio Grille Cloth Headquarters.

The 40-124 in my site's Gallery does not have the correct cloth for this reason. The correct pattern may be seen on the 40-90CB:
