BAKELITE BLOCK TYPE capacitors

I thought so too. On my 116B after abt 6months of operation the volume would go down and back up by it's self. I hadn't replaced them. After replacing those two 110mmf caps all is well. They were foil/paper.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
