Electrolytic Cap in 42-360
#1

I'm re-capping a 42-360 and I have a question re. one of the capacitors.
According to the schematic and specification, there is a dual capacitor 8mfd/8mfd @ 400 volts. However, the capacitor in the radio is an 8mfd/16mfd @ 400 volts. I realize that it could have been changed at some previous time -- however it's a Philco part and the soldering on the wires looks original. Wondering if any of you have had similar experiences and if anyone knows if a production change may have been made to the model.

Thanks
