Philco Jr. Model 81 Volume Circuit

That 4 meg is correct. At least as originally designed. I have since modified it to a 2 meg based on tip I found at the following:
http://www.philcorepairbench.com/tips/svctip44.htm I messed around a bit trying to add some resistance to the front end, but didn't have much luck.
