What kind of wire to use to replace old wiring? Pleas help
#2

I recently just picked up a few small spools of wire from Radio Daze (http://www.radiodaze.com). They have cloth covered wire that is rated for 600 volts in a variety of colors. For under the chassis work you may want to look at having a spool of solid in both 18 and 20 gauge sizes on hand. I've been told that the 20 gauge is usually fine for most of the work, while the 18 gauge is sometimes preferred for higher current use such as parallel connections of tube filamets.
