Because of my "innocence" with older Philcos, i did not realize that this was a common problem. I searched on my model number, but not on power switches per se.

Thanks Ron, for pointing to those two threads and for the great "how to do it" details by you and the other posters. My local Radio Shack stocks the switch, but I'm going to check Ace and Mouser also.

I'll probaby be back before I get this done!
