well it was very tedious but i had to remove the coil from the chassis so i could use my helping hands, the helping hands kept the 32 gauge magnet wire steady enough so that i could get a good solder joint, referring to the pic i had to splice the magnet wire inside about the middle of the coil. after re-installing coil I checked all connections (especially both ends of the primary ) and all is well!
