Philco 90 Restoration Chronicles

Don't know if this is possible, but you might be able to strip the molding, tone it, lightly sand the arch and face (maybe 320 or 400 grit) just to smooth out the clear finish that is still there but not go into the toner, and then coat the entire cabinet with clear gloss lacquer and rub out??? I think I've read threads from some of the more experienced folks who have refinished only portions of a cabinet. Some of them will surely also comment.
