Okay, just about finished.

Cradle just needs a couple of partitions to hold the B section in place. That piece of wood next to the batteries is keeping the cardboard cover glued to the B board together--it's drying...

Finished battery uses two C cells for the A, seven 9-volt batteries for the B.
