I have the cabinet all stripped now. I used some stripper and a scrapper. Then some lacquer thinner and some coarse steel wool, followed by lacquer thinner and #000 steel wool, followed by lacquer thinner and a clean rag wipe down twice.
I have some very small repairs to do then some light sanding then on to the grain filler.
