Power Transformer for 42-395
#1

I just found an old 42-395 console. The console is beautiful and in excellent shape, so I am going to completely rebuild the electronics. I am not very familiar with tube circuit design, so this will also be a fun learning experience. The only problem I have right now is that the original power transformer is missing and I am not sure what I should purchase for a replacement. The schematic shows the Gs Voltage on the output tubes is 195V and the Plate voltage on the output tubes is 185V. Should I add 100V for the field coil and purchase a 300-0-300 transformer? Does anyone know the specs for the original transformer. The parts list says the part number is 32-8192 - is there a resource where I can find the specs on this? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

thanks,

David
PS - I love this site and have had fun browsing all the posts. Reading everyone's experiences has really energized me to work on this radio.
