Thanks for the earlier help with bakelite block condensor. The radio works fine after a month and a half on it except for the vol. control. It plays loud or louder! Usually there is a .05 or so cap hooked to the vol. cont. but not in this radio unless I am missing something from the schematic. No caps were hooked to it. Deoxit cleared up the static. Am I missing something?
