35-1285 Record Changer Repair
#16

I have finally gotten all of the rubber parts on the record changer either replaced or repaired.  I am starting to reassemble everything and find that the Trunnion Assembly (part number 35-2604) seems to be missing the rubber bushings , or whatever keeps the bottom shaft bearing from flopping around.

I have the factory service manual, but the pictures of that part don't show enough detail to tell what's missing.  I also have another complete changer, but the Trunnion Assembly looks just the same - like a rubber bushing (or at least some kind of bushing) is missing.  The holes in the bracket are much larger than the pin that goes through the bearing.

Does someone have a working BOL changer?  If so, can you tell me how the Trunnion Assembly is put together?

I've attached a drawing of the assembly.
