Ok, I'll start off, since my Transitone history is sketchy.
Philco acquired Automobile Radio Corp. presumably to hit the ground running in the auto market soon after introducing their 511 series radios for the home market.

- Did the Transitone brand name come from Automobile Radio Corp.?
- Was the acquisition of ARC by Philco now called Transitone Automobile Radio Corporation?
- The first Transitone home receiver, the TH-1 brought out by Philco or the new Transitone entity?
