I have posted this message as part of a larger thread but thought it good idea to post it separately as well. I would like to complete the restoration of my friends grandfathers philco 47 1230 by installing a record player....The original is missing. I know that the original was only capable of playing 78rpm records and would like to install something that can play 33s and 45s as well....is there a replacement that someone can recommend that would fit right in, attaching to all fo the conections without having to rewire the entire radio (which is beyond me)....thanks Victor
