What kind of wire to use to replace old wiring? Pleas help
#1

Hello again,

Just brought my first radio restoration to life today (with the help of TonyJSenior). A Philco 610 beauty.

Quick question: Many of these old radios have wiring that when you move it, it just crumbles. At least its insualtion does. With that being said, what kind of wiring should I use to replace the old wiring? Home improvement stores all carry coper wiring, but being new to this hobby, I am usure what kind I need. I am talking about the basic wiring that is under the chasis to connect caps., resistors, etc. Do any of you have a website you recommend ordering this on?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
