Hello, all:
I'm working on a Philco 16X, chassis code 126, and have a question about the polarity of the electrolytic capacitors C98 ( 8uf) and C91, a dual can containing both a 10uf and 8uf cap.
This power supply section looks very much like the 14B I recently worked on and, in that scenario proves to be a parallel, then the 10uf section of C91 should see its positive lead going to ground. If I'm right so far, would the negative leads of the two 8uf caps go to the negative lead of the 10uf cap?
The schematic is here: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel...013141.pdf
Wonder why Philco didn't make this clear on their schematics? Maybe they feared that some unenlightened hobbyist would. try to decipher their intent 80 years into the future?
Thank you, in advance, for replies.
