Phonograph with Philco by Radiobar
#16

Since I sorta got this thread off-topic for a bit, I'm going to start a new thread dedicated only to the Phonograph with Philco by Radiobar.

Here are some pics of the unit sent to me by the PO. He just delivered the unit to me yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to go through it yet. Someone out there MUST have more information on this. All I can find is what Ron has, including the Mulholland Press info.

Cabinet made and marketed by Radiobar, a Philco 38-3 chassis, and a Capehart automatic record changer.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

Yeah Sam, I think you're right. Maybe just touch up. Except for the lid. The inside of the lid is pristine, including the felt, but the top HAS to be refinished.

And I DON'T have room for it, so it will be on ebay when I'm done. 'Course shipping wouldn't be too cheap. It measures 42x37x19, and has to weigh more than 100 lbs.

Nice restorations! I merged your two threads as they are primarily both about the same set.
