Philco 37-630
Was looking at a Philco 37-630/650 and asked some more questions and the seller says it has 8 tubes but is a 37-630 which doesn't make sense since the 630 should have only 6 tubes and the 650 should have 8. Were the cabinets similiar enough so that it may be a 37-650?

The console versions, which I know you are referring to, are very similar in appearance. The 650 is a bit bigger, though. Plus, you can also tell the two apart by looking at the trim at the top, along the sides curving around to the front - it is flat on the 630, but has a groove in the 650.

You could always ask for a photo showing the back view of the set...hopefully it wouldn't be as dark or fuzzy as the one the seller has posted of the front of the set...
